when i first read dorian gray, i enjoyed it and the characters it created. but my second read about 6 months later i was enthralled by the atmosphere the book created in a way i had missed the first time (this is a usual thing for me, i reread and rewatch media for this reason) this time round, quotes stuck in my head and applied themselves to the world while i went about my life
